My artwork is a direct response to my ideas that are derived from significant personal experiences, and from my exposure to different images, sounds, and environments.  By transforming and arranging dynamic blends of different art techniques and mediums, I am able to express and translate the discoveries I find into my artwork.

A variety of components are seen in my artwork: patterns, texture, nature, science, history, methodology, and heavy and light brushstrokes.  These different components help form the unique visual appearance that is present in my artwork.  By examining the elements of nature, I am able to dissect the scientific anomalies from nature itself and translate them into a visual artistic language.

When I am looking to ask or answer a question I initially begin to translate my thoughts into creative pieces of work that ultimately encompass a broad spectrum of techniques and textures.  This allows the viewers to enter into a visual learning, energizing, and engaging experience.

Creating my artwork is an ongoing activity that embodies the variety of relationships among nature, science, evolution, aesthetics, and personal life experiences and journeys.  These relationships and notions filter through a colorful kaleidoscope, where textures, shapes, and colors form a certain activity of expression.
